The protein purification and crystallization core at iHuman was founded in November 2013. Its mission is to support iHuman in scientific and technological breakthroughs in human cell signaling as well as in the education of the next generation of scientific entrepreneurs creating new medicines. Research of the protein purification core focuses on the development of protein characterization and purification, membrane protein stability studies, membrane protein crystallization technologies, structure of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) and development of antibodies for GPCRs.
