February, 2016 -In a report released by Thomson Reuters, Dr. Raymond Stevens, Professor of ShanghaiTech University and Founding Director of iHuman Institute, was selected as one of “The 2015 Highly Cited Researchers” in the areas of Biology & Biochemistry and Pharmacology & Toxicology. This is the second time he has earned this distinction since 2014.
The 2015 Highly Cited Researchers represents some of world’s most influential scientific minds. The winners earned this distinction by writing the greatest number of reports officially designated by Essential Science Indicators as Highly Cited Papers — ranking among the top 1% most cited for their subject field and year of publication, earning them the mark of exceptional impact.
Prof. Raymond C. Stevens is a leading structural biologist with major contribution to the study of GPCR structural biology. He is a winner of Zhao Chenggu SIMM Award for International Discovery in 2014. He has served as Founding Director of iHuman Institute since 2012, when the institute was established to focus exclusively on the basic and applied science of human cell signaling, developing the next generation of GPCR-targeted drugs, and bringing together leading researchers throughout the world.
