Research interests in the Xu group includedeciphering the signaling pathways of G-proteincoupled receptors (GPCRs) in human cells, with anemphasis on GPCR signaling in developmentalbiology. My lab will employ the cutting-edgetechnologies in GPCR structural biology andleverage extensive collaborations with otherresearch groups to explore the critical involvementof GPCRs in embryogenesis and tissuehomeostasis regulation, and the direct relevance ofdysregulation of GPCR signaling to numeroushuman diseases.
