The timely availability of recombinant proteins in sufficient quantity and of validated quality is of utmost importance in driving drug discovery and structural biology. Transient gene expression in mammalian cells has emerged as a promising technology for protein generation over the past decade.

Mammalian Core in iHuman Institute plays a key and growing role  in studying human G protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) and related cell expression areas since the core was established in 2015.

Our main service includes: mammalian protein production such as GPCR membrane proteins and secreted proteins; large-scale instrument management; cell bank service; and mammalian training.
